Continuing with our fair coverage, the Guthrie County Extension and Outreach Office has an event people might like to get involved in this weekend.
Beginning tomorrow and continuing until Monday at noon, Guthrie County 4-H is hosting a silent auction in the 4-H Exhibit Building. All proceeds will go toward helping the more than 200 4-H participants in the county during the years ahead.
4-H Youth Coordinator Mollie Clark says whether you win or lose in the auction, the organization is grateful for all the local support and donations that go directly to raising money for scholarships and other 4-H youth projects.
Items on this year’s auction range from an electric grill to Adirondack chairs to a cookout for up 8 people from the Guthrie County Cattlemen’s Association.
For any additional information about the auction, contact the Extension and Outreach Office at 641-747-2276.
