Mark Shore of Dawson was traveling in the 17000 block of Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer.  No injuries reported.  Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2500.00.

Austin Love of Dexter was traveling east in the north lane on Interstate 80 when his right front tire blew causing him to sideswipe a semi truck driven by Robin Wink of Cascade.  No injuries reported.  Damage to Wink’s vehicle estimated at $2500 and $300.00 to Love’s.

Saturday, July 20th

Christine Bruess reported that someone broke into her family’s farm house at 18261 T Ave and took copper from the house.

Carl Behanish of 29153 Royer Creek, Woodward reported that 2 of his horses were missing from his property.

Michael Schank of Boone was traveling in the 34000 block of Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer.  No injuries reported.  Damage to the vehicle estimated at $8000.00.

Sunday, July 21st

Eduardo Rios, age 20 of 303 8th St., Perry was arrested in the 800 block of Baker Rd., Minburn for unlawfully distribute marijuana.

Several residents in the 23000 block of 347th St., De Sot reported that their mailbox had been damaged with a blunt object.

Susan Waller of Van Meter was traveling north on Tabor Rd., when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Austin Sacker of Van Meter.  No injuries reported.  Damage to Waller’s vehicle estimated at $2500.00 and $4000.00 to Sacker’s.

Monday, July 22nd

Adam Edward Baldwin, age 34 of 5905 New York, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of OWI.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
