One of the things riders are sure to notice will be the artwork displayed to welcome them to Guthrie Center.

Local artist, Randi Imerman, an Air Force Lieutenant on leave, says she ‘use to paint and sketch all the time and she did this as a volunteer to help out the city with RAGBRAI.’ Imerman is a Guthrie Center native however she will soon be transferring to Germany. Her hand painted signs will be posted on the route leading into town.

Dina Christensen, owner of D Vision in Guthrie Center, along with her husband moved back to Guthrie Center to raise their son, she has been doing commercial graphic artwork for 20 plus years and looked forward to helping locally with the RAGBRAI event coming through.

The Guthrie Center logo that Imerman and Christensen came up with will be displayed on flags at the Mitchell City Park during RAGBRAI and everyone will have the opportunity to purchase t-shirts during the event as well.
