A deputy was advised of 4 or 5 people walking around the park in Grand Junction lighting fireworks. The deputy was unable to locate these individuals upon his arrival.
A deputy was asked to check the report of a cow on the roadway at U Avenue just north of 150th Street. The owner was called and placed the cow back into the pasture.
A deputy was dispatched to Grand Junction for the report of a possible phone scam. The deputy informed the resident not to give any personal information over the phone.
A deputy checked an alarm activation to a business in Paton. The deputy determined that the alarm technicians were working on the system at that time.
A deputy was dispatched to Scranton for a report of a traffic accident. A 2003 Cadillac Seville owned and driven by Hank Eugene Muzney of Jefferson sustained approximately $4000 in damages and a 1993 Chevrolet pickup that is owned and being driven by Dios Delangel of Brownsville, Texas, sustained $1200 in damages. Dios Delangel was issued citations for no insurance and a violation of new title and registration.
A deputy was asked to intervene in a family dispute in Grand Junction. The deputy spoke with the juvenile male about his actions and the repercussions that they may create.
A deputy was advised of criminal mischief to a window at the Rippey School.
