Often times people struggle the most to quit smoking and using tobacco products.
Greene County Medical Center is partnering with New Opportunities to provide a Quit Smart Smoking Cessation Class next month.
Prevention Consultant at New Opportunities Diane Fleener will be the instructor of the four session course. She says that while the ultimate goal is for everyone stop using tobacco products entirely, even if people achieve personal goals of cutting back will be a success.
The four classes will be on Wednesdays starting May 8th and ending on May 29th. The cost for the workshops is $40 which includes a Quit Smart book and other materials. Pre-registration is required and the deadline to signup is May 1st.
