Senior Quinn Flack will be representing Greene County High School at 3 p.m. today when she throws in the high school girls’ discus competition at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. Just the top 24 throws this spring qualified for the event among all the high schools in the state. Flack qualified in the 21st position with a toss of 119′ 10″, a career best to this point. The rest of the Greene County boys and girls track and field squads will be in Boone today for the Boone Classic at 4:30 p.m.

Other high school events today at Drake include the girls’ long jump, boys’ shot put and high jump, plus the 3,000 meter run for girls and the boys’ 3,200 meter run.

The majority of qualifiers for Drake from the Raccoon Valley Radio Network will be in action on Friday.
