Perry basketball fans are reminded to wear white to tonight’s games as the Bluejays do their part to block-out cancer.

Tonight is the annual “Coaches vs. Cancer” event.  Several things are planned before and during this evening’s games.  There will be a Wall of Remembrance for those who have been directly affected by cancer.  Relay for Life of Northern Dallas County is offering a dinner before the game.  There will be a special speaker and public service announcements during the contest breaks, along with information available from the American Cancer Society.

All fans are also asked to remain silent during the first minute of the varsity boys’ game in an effort to silence cancer.  Coaches will also be wearing sneakers at the game in support of cancer awareness.

The girls’ game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 with the boys’ game to follow.
