The Guthrie County Veterinary Services is hosting an Open House Friday to welcome Dr.  Dr. Katie Irlbeck to their practice in Guthrie Center.  Dr. Irlbeck joined Dr. Doug Frels and Dr. Donna Paglialunga in the caring of both large and small animals.

Dr. Irlbeck earned her Bachelor of Science degree in animal sciences in 2008 from Iowa State University and recently graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine, which prepared her for general veterinary practice, with training in family pets as well as farm animals.  She is married to David Irlbeck, who farms with his family just south of Coon Rapids.

The open house takes place Friday from 1-4pm.  All community members are invited to attend.
