A rash of preseason and early season injuries appeared to be slowing for the Greene County Rams until an MRI earlier this week revealed a tear of a knee ligament to senior two-way lineman Daniel Rohner. The offensive tackle/defensive end was injured early in the Rams’ 31-12 loss at Shenandoah last week Rohner was a returning letter winner and the only senior on the offensive front five.
Greene County hosts Red Oak on Friday, Sept. 14 in Jefferson at Linduska Field at 7 p.m. in the homecoming game. Both teams are 0-3 overall and 0-1 in Class 2A District 8. The contest can be heard “live” and play-by-play on KGRA 98.9 FM starting with coverage at 6 p.m.
