The Jefferson City Council meets in regular session Tuesday.
Items on the agenda include a public hearing in regards to sale of property at 80 West Harrison Street – followed by approval of sale, introduction of Main Street Program Director Alan Robinson, approval of pay estimate #5 for the downtown restoration project in the amount of $300,927 and the second reading of an ordinance amending the spring and fall pickup of bulky rubbish.
The council will also consider the purchase of an outdoor informational sign for the Jefferson Community Center, approve the purchase of body armor for the police department and approve neighborhood improvement incentive program demolition reimbursement of $1,750 to Marlyn and Amy Purdy for removal of a house at 1010 North Maple Street.
The meeting takes place at 5:30pm Tuesday in the council chambers of the Jefferson City Hall.
