When the Greene County Rams take the football field for the first time in a regular season game on Friday night it will mark the first 11-player game for some in their high school careers. The players that formerly played for East Greene were in the eight-player game will experience 11-player football including senior quarterback Tori Beger. In 2010 and ’11 the Hawks used a wide open spread attack on offense with the quarterback primarily in the shotgun formation. Beger threw for 2,558 yards in nine games including 31 touchdowns as a junior. He takes the reigns of the Rams’ offense, which will likely feature the pass more to take advantage of Beger’s skills, as well as those of the Greene County receiving corps.
