The Guthrie Center All Class Reunion is just around the corner and help needed to help put things together for the event.  Volunteers will be gathering at the Guthrie Center High School library this Thursday night to stuff registration packets for the reunion,

Rod Rumelhart, co-chair for the All Class Reunion, says that they’re having a little trouble getting alumni to fill the spots for the flag football game that’s set to start at 4:00 P.M. August 31.  Rumelhart says that if an alumnus wants to play and hasn’t signed up, they’re more than welcome to just walk on the field and join in the fun.  But if you planned to attend the Saturday night meal and haven’t yet registered, you’re unfortunately out of luck.  Rumelhart says they can no longer take sign ups as there is already a full house.

There are still plenty of seats available for all showings of the musical Children of Eden, which starts at 7:00 P.M. August 29.  Matinee performances will continue to run at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

It’s still not too late to register.  You can register online by going to the website www.guthriecenterschools.com and click on the GCHS alumni tab.  The All School reunion takes place Labor Day weekend in conjunction with the Guthrie County Fair.
