A Perry florist has been awarded the August Customer Service Award.

The Perry Chamber of Commerce recently selected Betty Thomas of Parkers Flowers and Gifts for the monthly award.

Thomas was nominated by Liz Hansen of Altoona who says she has had many good experiences with Betty.  “Anytime I need to send flowers to friends in the hospital, or to a funeral, or even when I stop by Parker’s to pick up an arrangement to take to the nursing home, I’m never disappointed with Betty’s Work” says Hansen.

Thomas was awarded with $20 in Perry Bucks from the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce.
