Boone’s high school boys’ swim team was a 90-80 winner over Carroll on Tuesday night in Boone. Mason Osborne of Greene County swims for Boone under an athletic sharing agreement. The ACGC girls have a quick turnaround off a tough loss to the West Central Valley Wildcats on Tuesday. The Charger girls will take the court tonight against the CAM Cougars in non-conference action. Greene County School Board Accept Verbal Agreement on Completed House

The Greene County School Board met Wednesday night in regular session. The Board approved the 2018-19 school calendar, following a public hearing on the topic. During reports, Board member Steve Karber said they are working to reschedule to two public meetings in Rippey and Scranton with OPN Architects on the possible bond referendum. The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular budgeting session today. County Attorney Mary Benton will present her fiscal year 2018-2019 budget. Benton will also discuss an easement for access to the county farm. The Board will then award the lease of the farm.
