Perry Girls Basketball To Hold End of Season Banquet

The Perry girls basketball team will hold their end of year banquet on February 27th in the high school commons.  All varsity, junior varsity, freshman and middle school players are strongly encouraged to attend.  Youth basketball players are also invited to the event.  Rachel Kautzky-Schieb will be the special presenter on the night.  Kautzky was a member of the 2002 state championship Perry team and later went on to play at the Northern Iowa.

ACGC senior Quenton Spack joins Caden Wardyn and Collin Stowe as players who finished their Charger boys basketball careers in a loss to Woodward-Granger in the first round of the District 15 playoffs. Motorists are reminded that plow crews are out clearing the roadways of slush and ice Friday morning. The Iowa Department of Transportation reports most of the state roads in Greene and Guthrie counties are partially covered with slush. Guthrie County Supervisors Mull Over Opioid Litigation Participation

The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular budgeting session Thursday. Assistant Guthrie County Attorney Tim Benton addressed the Board on an invitation from the Iowa State Association of Counties to join in Opioid Litigation. There are currently 46 counties, including Adair and Dallas, that have signed on to participate in the litigation process.
