The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus will be coming to the Adair County Fairgrounds on Tuesday August 29th for two shows, the first at 5:00 pm and the second at 7:30 pm. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for kids & seniors in advance, or $13 & $8 at the door. The Scranton Tractor Ride will be Saturday August 19. Registration starts at 7:00 am at the Scranton Community Center and roll out time is 8 a.m. There will be Trailer parking available at Landus Coop. Everyone is welcome to the Perry Public Library today for the Solar Eclipse event at noon. It will be held in the large meeting room of the library. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Joe Cerwinske, will speak about why this eclipse is special. There will be hands-on activity to aid in the understanding of the relative size between the sun, moon and earth, and how to safely view the solar eclipse. Special glasses will be provided.
