The Churdan Adult Activity Club will meet today at noon for a potluck meal. A turkey will be provided. Everyone is encouraged to come at 10:30 am for games and fellowship. This will be held at the Churdan Community Room in Churdan.
The next meeting of the Perry Public Library Monthly Book Club will be held on Tuesday, November 21, at 1:00 p.m., in the Clarion Room, at the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue. The selected title is “All the Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr. Books are available at the library, and everyone is invited to attend. A Winter Pep Rally will be held tonight at the Greene County Middle School Gym at 7 pm. Games run by the boys and girls basketball team, cheerleaders, wrestlers, concert and jazz band members, jazz choir and small and large group speech. Introduction of all the participants in extra curricular activities during the winter season will also take place. The rally will be emcee’d by Doug Rieder.
The Perry Chamber of Commerce invites you to the annual Lighted Christmas Parade on Friday, November 24. Lineup begins at 2nd Street and Otley Avenue at 6 p.m. and the parade starts at 7 p.m. La Poste is holding a holiday party immediately afterwards featuring Santa, St Patrick’s singers, hot chocolate and more.
