The Dexter Acts of Random Kindness (DARK) group will hold their raffle Friday night at the American Legion hall. Legionnaire Dan Byrnes says the funds will go to help the less fortunate. “They’ve given upwards of $2,300 to the local food pantries these last few years doing this raffle. It’s a really good thing for the community.”

On November 21st, the Dexter American Legion will host their own raffle. Byrnes says the proceeds will go towards helping local youth. “We give back to the local community’s youth organizations, like youth football, wrestling or basketball camps. Anything youth-oriented we contribute to.”

Byrnes will tell us more about the raffles today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
