A book sale is going on now at the Guthrie Center Public Library and will continue through the end of the month, or until all of the materials have been sold. Director Pat Sleister says the library usually holds its sale in June, but a surplus of books made it necessary to push it up this year.

“We have lots of puzzles, VHS tapes, paperbacks, and many large print books, which is unusual.”

All books will be sold for free will offerings and the money will support library functions.
