A late Friday snowstorm is wreaking havoc on high school sporting events this weekend. The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity wrestling team is among those affected by the recent weather. The Tigers were among the 21 teams set to visit Urbandale Community Schools today for the annual Ed Winger Invitational tournament. As a precaution to the forecast, Urbandale decided to cancel this year’s tournament on Friday morning. The ADM wrestling teams resume their dual season in southern Dallas County this Thursday in a nonconference triangular versus Van Meter/Earlham and PCM. First grapples are set for 6 p.m. at Van Meter High School.
