acgcTwo top-ten scorers in the West Central Activities Conference will square off tonight when the ACGC boys basketball team (4-5, 2-5) welcomes the Woodward-Granger Hawks (7-2, 6-1) to Guthrie Center.

Junior Bryce Littler is on pace to set a couple records for the gold and black. Littler is averaging 15.4 points per game in his first nine starts of the season for a total of 139. Though the competition will be arduous down the stretch, if Littler can continue to average 11 per contest, he will top the ACGC single-season scoring record set last year by Caden Wardyn. The junior could also claim the Charger record for consecutive games with at least ten points with doubles tonight and tomorrow afternoon against Exira-EHK.

Littler certainly has some assistance in the scoring column. Senior Noah Sargent leads all of Class 2A in three-point percentage with a minimum of ten attempts, sinking nearly 60% from beyond the arc. Senior Noah Nelsen and junior Quynton Younker are also averaging over eight points per game.

As for the Hawks, junior Bryce Achenbach also comes into the conference clash with 139 total points to sit level with Littler for 5th best in the conference. The Hawks will bring an experienced squad of sharpshooters to Guthrie Center tonight. Junior Keith Braunschweig and senior Noah Hoyt also average north of 12 points per game.
