Boone used a combination of accurate three-point shooting to go along with double digit offensive rebounds in defeating Perry 60-23 in Raccoon River Conference action Tuesday night. The Toreadors connected on 12 three-point baskets with young sophomore Emma Dighton leading the way with 21 points. Boone dominated the offensive glass all night and seemed to outwork Perry in the hustle categories. The Toreadors led 38-10 at the half and played the second half with a continuous, mercy rule clock.
Jayna Kenney led Perry with 8 points, while Molly Lutmer added 6 points in her return to the lineup following an ankle injury.
Perry falls to 1-11 and will host Bondurant Farrar Friday night.
