Greene County lost to Gilbert and ADM in high school wrestling last night in Gilbert. The Rams fell to 1-3 in dual meets and 0-1 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference with a 39-37 loss to Gilbert, then falling to ADM, 54-27.

Both Greene County and Gilbert won seven weight classes. The difference was two more bonus points for the Tigers. Winning by fall for the Rams were Chance Mccollum (120), Cam Miller (145), and Will Hansen (152). Brenner Gallagher (106) and Braden Gallagher (113) both won by forfeit, while Joel Ward (170) won by 16-4 major decision, and Brady Stauffer (138) won a 3-0 decision.

Against ADM, the Rams won five times. Miller, Colby Kafer (160), and Brenner Gallagher won by fall. Braden Gallagher won by forfeit and Stauffer erased a 5-1 deficit to win in overtime, 9-7.

Coach Zach Beekman’s Rams will be in the Ogden dual meet tournament tomorrow starting at 9 a.m.
