The ACGC Chargers are enjoying the last few days of winter break before embarking on their 2019 schedule. The second half of the winter season kicks off on Thursday.

On Thursday the ACGC grapplers will hit the mats for a quadrangular at Griswold. The teams featured include the Chargers, host Tigers, Exira-EHK, and AHSTW. This will be an early acclamation for a Charger squad that will see both the Spartans and Vikings in ACGC’s home sectional on February 2nd. The Chargers will enter this quadrangular at 8-2. They will have a quick turnaround as they will also compete in the Coon Rapids-Bayard invitational on Saturday, January 5th.

The ACGC basketball teams will compete in back-to-back home doubleheaders next week. The first is on Friday with a West Central Activities Conference pair against the Woodward-Granger Hawks. The Saturday doubleheader is a non-conference tilt with Exira-EHK. You can hear the doubleheader against Woodward-Granger on KKRF2 and RaccoonValleyRadio.com. Tip off for the conference clash is set for 6pm while the Exira-EHK double begins at 3pm from Guthrie Center.
