One person was airlifted by helicopter after a single-vehicle wreck west of Menlo Saturday night.

According to the Stuart Fire Department a 2000 Chevy Silverado was northbound on Ranch Trail near White Pole Road at about 10 p.m. when the driver lost control on a bridge and struck the guard rail, went airborne clearing a creek and landed wheels up in the east ditch. One person was transported by helicopter to Mercy Hospital and another person was transported by ambulance for treatment of injuries. Those involved in the wreck have not been identified at this time. Stuart Fire and Rescue, Menlo Fire and Rescue, and the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
