As the countdown to Christmas continues, the United States Postal Service reminds everyone of shipping deadlines to ensure packages arrive to their destinations before Christmas Day.
For packages to arrive by Christmas Eve Day, the last day to mail any retail ground packages by USPS is December 14th. Packages for First Class and Priority Mail is December 20th and Priority Mail Express is by December 22nd. The majority of deadlines for First Class Package International Service and Priority Mail International are tomorrow, while the majority of Priority Mail Express International deadlines aren’t until next week.
The USPS notes that beginning December 10th is when customer traffic is expected to increase with the week of December 17th through the 23rd being the busiest mailing, shipping and delivery week of the year.
