Four Greene County wrestlers placed seventh or higher at Saturday’s Dallas Center-Grimes Mustang Invitational on Saturday. The Rams were eleventh among 14 teams. Ankeny Centennial won the team title with DC-G second.

The highest finish for Coach Zach Beekman’s Rams came from freshman Nathan Black. He was third at 145 lbs.. Unfortunately, Black’s season comes to an end on Monday with shoulder surgery scheduled. Senior Clint Dennhardt was fourth at 182 lbs. with both losses to Class 3A wrestlers. Junior Braden Gallagher was fifth at 106 and sophomore Brady Stauffer placed seventh at 138. The Rams did not take a full lineup to Grimes.
