perry dog park

As we near the end of 2018, the City of Perry wants to remind residents that it’s time to get their pet licenses.

Any pet owners within Perry city limits who have cats or dogs over six-months-old must obtain or renew a license before January 31, 2019. The cost for a license is $5 per animal if they’ve been spayed or neutered, or $20 for an un-altered animal. Additionally, anyone who registers after February 1st will be assessed a $5 late fee. The City also reminds residents that they can now purchase yearly passes to the Perry Dog Park. The fee is $20 for the first dog, and $10 for each additional dog, with a maximum of three. There are also day passes available for $2 per dog. You must have a current pet license in order to get a dog park permit.

Pet licenses and dog park permits can both be obtained at the McCreary Community Building, and the owners must provide proof of a rabies vaccination. Anyone with questions is encouraged to reach out to Perry City Hall at 515-465-5621.
