Highway 25 south of Interstate 80 is now open for motorists.

According to Scott Suhr with the Iowa Department of Transportation the two bridge replacement projects have been completed and the road is open as of Thursday afternoon. The project that began last May caused motorists in Adair County to use a detour. The new bridges are expected to improve traffic flow in the area with wider roadways and updated guardrails.
