Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce

At the most recent Adel City Council meeting, the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce gave a presentation on their planning for 2019.

Chamber President Deb Bengston said they have formulated a four-point plan for next year, which she believes will help their membership and the City in general. The first part of the plan is to leverage marketing, which will include a new logo and some rebranding. Their new hook is titled “Advantage Adel,” and the logo will be unveiled at the Celebrate Adel dinner on February 11th. Part two is igniting the membership by helping them connect and grow together, which is being accomplished through the monthly Coffee and Conversation and Drinks and Discussion networking events.

The third point is enhancing the trail system in the City, which is featured in the Chamber’s project to enhance the Raccoon River Valley Trail between Nile Kinnick Drive and the river. Finally, Bengston said the Chamber is seeking to thrive with economic development, which is where they’ll be working hand-in-hand with the City. Bengston said she is excited for the new year to see how the strategic plan will come together, and the Council expressed their eagerness to do their part along the way.
