After a successful event held on Friday in celebration of the Greene County Community Center turning 20-years-old, the celebration continues the rest of this weekend.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner says anyone can use the community center for free the rest of this weekend, and they can also sign up for a couple of chances to win free stuff.

“We have a drawing for a free membership. It’s an individual membership, which can be used against a family membership or whatever. And then Wild Rose made a donation to us for a gift basket. So we will be drawing for two separate people for each of these prizes.”

She adds that they will draw the winners on Monday. Lautner points out that they have several items for people to check-out, such as an indoor walking track, basketball court, weight machines, exercise bikes, elliptical machines, free weights and a racquetball court.
