Last Thursday and Friday were chalk full of activities with the Perry Chamber of Commerce, as they held three ribbon cuttings and their monthly Chamber Coffee over the two days.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti was pleased with the turnout for each of the events, which were held at Salvaged Soul, the Perry Barber Shop, and EveryStep Hospice. There will even be another ribbon cutting this Friday at 11:30 a.m., hosted at Backwards Boutique, which is located on the corner of 2nd and Warford streets. Pasutti is excited that Perry has so much to celebrate, as there continues to be more new businesses and new Chamber members every month. “We’re just keeping busy, just very exciting coming into the holiday time. So we’re just really happy to officially welcome Salvaged Soul, Backwards Boutique next week, we’ve got the Perry Barber Shop, and then also of course the Chamber Coffee and ribbon cutting at EveryStep Hospice. So a good range of businesses represented within this week, and (we’re) excited to have all of them here in Perry!”

Pasutti adds, any local businesses that are interested in joining the Chamber can reach out to their offices at the Towncraft Building. Additionally, if any new or existing businesses would like to host a ribbon cutting event, she’d be happy to bring the oversized scissors and make it happen.
