A new season of West Central Valley Wildcats varsity girls basketball begins this coming week on the road. Tuesday starts the Wildcats 2018-19 competition season with a trip to Greenfield for a nonconference contest against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines. It’s the only game for West Central Valley before the Thanksgiving Holiday. After the annual holiday break, the Wildcats open their West Central Activities Conference slate on Friday, November 30 in Boone County against the Ogden Bulldogs. The Wildcats will hold their home opener Saturday, December 1, hosting Ankeny Christian Academy. The West Central Valley varsity girls basketball team is once again under the direction of head coach Drew Stonewall. Stonewall closed his fourth season in Stuart last winter with a 9-12 overall record.
