(Updated 9:30 a.m.) Five female student-athletes at Adel-Desoto-Minburn Community Schools made their college selections public during an event this morning at ADM’s North Gym. ADM Activites Director Reece Satre informed the Raccoon Valley Radio Network Monday afternoon about the Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony. Among the girls who made their college choices know this morning is senior Anna Kenny. Kenny shared with RVR during Friday’s ADM Girls Basketball Media Day that she was going to sign her letter of intent with the University of Sioux Falls Women’s Track & Field Team, stating she’s excited about the atmosphere of the program. “(Sioux Falls) has a super Christian based program (and) that was really appealing to me,” Kenny said, “My dad is from the area, so I’m used to the drive, it’s about four hours, so it didn’t seemed too far (away) for me.”

Other seniors who signed letters of intent this morning include Emma Jacobsen joining the Des Moines Area Community College Bears Women’s Basketball team, Sadie Juergens committing to the University of Northern Iowa Women’s Track and Field Program, Bri Powers investing her future in North Iowa Area Community College Women’s Volleyball program, and Emma Brown agreeing to join the University of Denver Women’s Gymnastic’s team. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will have follow up stories from today’s ADM National Signing Day event in the coming days.
