acgcLast week the West Central Activities Conference released their season-ending conference accolades for volleyball. ACGC freshman Chloe Largent was one of just two to be unanimously selected to the First Team.

Largent, who smashed the single-season records in both kills and aces, led the conference in both categories. Other first team selections included: Brooke Halterman (Panorama), Megan Riddle (DMC), Alayna Bakke (DMC), McCall Baker (DMC), Emma Drake (Woodward-Granger), Anna Tague (Woodward-Granger), Ashlyn Soelberg (Woodward-Granger), Rachel Luke (Earlham), and Emma Braun (Van Meter).

Junior Olivia Laabs was selected to the Second Team. Laabs finished in the top ten in the conference in both aces and digs. Senior Genevieve Hoover and sophomore Audrey Stowe were both Honorable Mention selections. Des Moines Christian received six selections to the top two teams, while Woodward-Granger had four selections.

Largent becomes the first freshman in ACGC history to be named to a first or second team in the conference for volleyball. The Chargers completed their third season with a record of 21-10. ACGC is now 57-32 after their first three seasons.
