acgcWhile senior Ben Kingery closed his final football season with a collection of records, another Charger set some of her own in her first season on the volleyball court. Freshman Chloe Largent broke records in both kills and aces this season for the Chargers.

Largent’s 348 kills and 56 aces are now both the best in a season at ACGC. Both records were previously held by 2017 senior Makayla Hoing. Largent also set a record in kill efficiency percentage with 41.6%.

Largent’s individual performance also helped set records for the the Charger team. The Chargers set new team records for kills and aces in a season with 809 and 245 respectively.  Their kill and serve efficiency was also the best in their three-year history with a 23.1 and 90.2 mark respectively.

In terms of serve efficiency individually, sophomore Audrey Stowe notched the best mark this season with a 94.2%. She missed just twelve of her 208 serves this season for the gold and black. The Chargers finished the season at 21-10 for the second straight year and fell in the regional semifinals in back-to-back seasons. Tomorrow we’ll look at the leaders in blocks, digs, and assists.
