The Stuart City Council will convene in regular session tonight.

The meeting will begin with a joint meeting with the utility board regarding water lines. The Council will then discuss a code violation with resident Bob Agan. The Council will then consider appointing Karen Varley to represent the City on the Adair County Tourism Council. Action on 2018 Tax Increment Financing certificates are also on the agenda, as well as discussion on two Requests for Proposal on the City’s comprehensive and strategic plans. The meeting will conclude with discussion and action on abandoned property at 512 South Summit, and payment to Grimes Asphalt & Pavement for this year’s street improvements.
