Very few players in Class 2A basketball stuffed the stat sheet last season quite like Panorama senior Morgan Johnk. As a junior, Johnk led the Panther girls basketball team in total rebounds (149), assists (61), and blocked shots (43). She also produced 259 points, the third highest output for Panorama girls basketball, and ranked fifth on the squad with 33 steals. Her efforts helped Johnk earn a spot on the second team All-WCAC girls basketball team last winter. Johnk is one of six seniors on this year’s Panorama Panthers varsity girls basketball roster. The Panthers continue their preseason scrimmage schedule tonight in Audubon, playing a jamboree game against Exira-EHK. Panorama opens their 2018-19 regular season schedule this Tuesday at Gilbert.
