4:00am: Justin Lopez 20 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of alcohol under age 2nd offense.

4:46am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue and 160th Street.

8:00am: A deputy investigated a two-car accident on 220th Street near Granite Avenue. Patty Alley 52 of Carroll was driving east in a 2010 Mazda CX7 and rear ended Josselyn Skhordal 24 of Gilbert. Josselyn was also driving east in a 2018 Toyota Highlander. Both vehicles had an estimated 500 dollars damage. There were no citations issued.

8:37am: A deputy tried to located cattle on the railroad near W Avenue on 220th Street.

11:57am: The Sheriff and deputies assisted Carroll Police Department and Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with a high-speed chase that ended on C Avenue and 220th Street.

12:25pm: A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 100 block of 180th Street.

2:13pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of junk vehicles in the 100 block of Vine Street, Cooper.

5:07pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.

5:57pm: A deputy assisted the United States probation office with a search of a residence in the 600 block of 150th Street. John Minnehan 63 of Churdan was arrested for possession of a firearm as a felon.

6:01pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near U Avenue.

8:25pm: John Minnehan 63 of Churdan was booked into the jail for possession of a firearm as a felon.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
