Dallas Supervisors 8-7

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

The meeting will start with an update from the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance. Following that, the Board will set the time and date for public hearings to open bids for two highly anticipated projects: the Auditor’s Office parking lot resurfacing, and the courthouse renovation. At 10 a.m., they will hold a public hearing focused on a road vacation request by Tyson Foods in Perry for a portion of I Court.

Other items on the agenda include: tax credit applications for disabled veteran homestead, family farm, homestead military, and agricultural land; a resolution on utility valuations; and possibly more discussion on the service coordinator position for area 1A of the Healthcare Coalition. Additionally, the Board will go into an exempt session to conduct negotiations strategy, followed by a closed session to discuss purchase of particular real estate.

The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
