The Perry community is once again invited to participate in the Carnegie Library Museum’s annual Festival of Trees.

Businesses, churches, organizations, clubs, and even individuals are invited to decorate and submit a tree or other holiday-themed arrangement to be featured at this year’s event in November and December. Organizers feel it’s a great way for people to get exposure for their business or organization, while also contributing to a fun holiday event. There is no cost to submit a tree, and all materials will be returned to the participants, since none of the trees are sold. However, visitors to the Carnegie during the festival will be able to vote on their favorites, which will result in year-long bragging rights.

Anyone wanting to participate will need to let organizers Katie Schott or Laura Stebbins know before Friday, November 2nd at 5 p.m. Schott can be reached by phone at 515-465-3809, and Stebbins can be contacted by phone at 515-360-4980 or by email at LJStebbins@outlook.com. Set up for the festival will be on November 13th and 14th, with the exhibit running from November 17th through December 23rd.
