The Perry football team will play at Dewey Field for the final time in the 2018 season tonight when they host Boone in a 7:30 kickoff. Perry enters with an 0-7 record while Boone is 4-3 and is fresh off a win against Dallas Center Grimes. Perry is hoping to get healthy tonight with both running back Justin Stammer and lineman Mikey Echevarria missing last week’s game with various injuries. Perry head coach Matt Hardy says his team has been close on a number of occasions this year and now it’s all about execution. “I just want to see our team come out and play a four quarter game and execute. We have done it in spurts this year but tonight I hope we can put it all together for a complete game. This will be another tough test for us but I thought our guys came out and played hard and physical last week. We just need to execute better.”
You can listen to the game on KDLS beginning at 6:30 tonight.
