Friday marks the final football game at ADM Stadium for the seniors of Adel-Desoto-Minburn Community Schools. One senior who didn’t see himself playing football this fall was Nolan Harsh. Harsh said his thoughts changed around the end of last year’s high school wrestling season. “It was around state wrestling, even a little bit before that,” Harsh said, “Coach Carter started sending me these postcards every once in a while. I was like ‘ok, I see what you’re doing here’ and Coach (Chris) Rupe was always talking to me in the hallways trying to get me to go out (for football).”

Harsh eventually agreed to join the Tiger football team after the conclusion of the 2017-18 wrestling season. He shares with Raccoon Valley Radio his favorite part of the 2018 campaign. “The fact that everyone (on the team) has a common goal,” Harsh said, “Everyone wants to win. Everyone’s willing to put the work in so we can shine on Friday nights. It’s been fun seeing everyone work their tales off.”

Harsh is being featured this Friday on Raccoon Valley Radio’s ADM Student Spotlight segment. Hear the ADM Student Spotlight with Harsh during halftime of this Friday’s ADM Tiger Football game versus Winterset on True Country K 107.9, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF mobile app.
