Greene County ExtensionGreene County Extension is starting their Greene Living Series back up next month.

The first program will be focused on the holiday season with “Appetizers for the Holidays.” Extension Director Lori Mannel talks about the details of the class.

“We’re very excited about this program. Donna Carhill, who is retired teacher at Greene County High School, is going to present this information. We’re going to be able to make bruschetta, crab rangoon, herbed meatballs with different sauces, thumbprint cookies and bread twists.”

It will be held on Thursday, November 8th from 6 to 8pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. Cost to participate is $25, which includes all of the make-it and take-it ingredients. Deadline to register is November 1st. Mannel adds that space is limited. Call 386-2138 or stop by the Extension office to sign up.
