The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.

A work session will begin at 5:15pm. The Board will hear from two of the candidates running for the Iowa House District 47 seat with Democrat David Weaver of Rippey and Republican Phil Thompson of Jefferson. No action will be taken by the Board during the work session.

The regular meeting starts at 6:30pm. Under old business, the Board will consider for approval terminating the current academic and athletic sharing agreements with Paton-Churdan School District, along with possibly taking action on the instructional support levy.

The new business items the Board will consider approving include early graduation requests, fundraiser requests, an agreement with Medical Enterprises for the Drug and Alcohol Testing Consortium, an agreement for the Greene County Beaver Creek Wind Farm Urban Renewal Area, a leave of absence request and several board policy reviews. Additionally the Board will discuss a new construction project, a proposal for design services from Storey Kenworthy and the certified enrollment report.
