Vote Dallas County

The 2018 general election is mere weeks away, but in Dallas County a large percentage of voters have already submitted their ballots.

Auditor Julia Helm tells Raccoon Valley Radio there are around 56,000 registered voters in Dallas County, and her office was anticipating around 10,000 of those people to vote early. However, one week after early voting opened, Helm reported over 7,000 ballots cast either in her office or absentee by mail. She says if the current pace continues, they could see around 15,000 early and absentee ballots in the County.

Early voting can be done at the Auditor’s Office in Adel from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are also an assortment of satellite voting locations held between now and November 6th, and a few days when the Auditor’s Office will be open late. See below for a list of satellite voting locations in Dallas County.
