The Iowa Association of Track Coaches released their fifth cross country team and individual rankings this week, and the organization continues to be high on the Panorama Panthers girls squad. The IATC rated Panorama as the third best girls squad in Class 2A for a second straight week. The group also ranked sophomore Ella Waddle as the No. 6 Class 2A individual runner in this week’s top 30 poll. The Panthers last raced one week ago in the 44th annual Panorama Cross Country Invitational at the Lake Panorama Par 3 Golf Course. The Panorama girls defended their team title with a low score of 53. The Panther boys team placed 17th out of 20 squads with 377 points. Panorama resumes their race season today in the annual Charger Cross Country Invitational hosted by AC/GC Community Schools. The meet features runners from Bedford, CAM, Collins-Maxwell, Coon Rapids-Bayard, East Union, Lenox, Logan-Magnolia, Martensdale-St Marys, Mount Ayr, Perry, Red Oak, and West Central Valley. First races begin at 4:p.m. from AC/GC High School in Guthrie Center.
