Several teens face charges following an alleged incident in Jefferson earlier this month.

According to a press release by the Jefferson Police Department, an investigation began on September 17th. An officer responded to a call in the 200 block of Edgewood Avenue that a 2006 Monte Carlo had damage done to the exterior of the vehicle. During the investigation, the officer determined that the car had been keyed causing $4,755 in damages.

The officer has since determined several suspects who were allegedly involved in the incident and has applied for arrest warrants. One is a 17-year-old juvenile male, along with 18-year-old Braxton Holderby of Jefferson, and 19-year-old Kaden Lowe of Grand Junction; each face a Class D Felony for conspiracy to commit a non-forcible felony and a serious misdemeanor for trespassing causing damage greater than $200. Eighteen-year-old Elisha Ward of Jefferson, along with 20-year-old Kooper Behrens of Carroll each face a Class D Felony for second degree criminal mischief and a serious misdemeanor for trespassing causing damage greater than $200.

Once the warrants have been issued and the suspects have been apprehended, they will be booked into the Greene County Jail and the juvenile will be handed over to the juvenile court services. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
