Saturday’s home opener for the No. 10 Grand View University Vikings Football team proved to be a big game for Panora native Gabe Richey. The 2016 Panorama alum registered 150 yards receiving and caught three touchdown passes as Grand View topped Central Methodist University Eagles, 47-27. Richey’s scoring plays measured 19, 31, and 77 yards in length. The performance equals the total number of touchdowns scored in 12 games played as a sophomore in 2017. The win improves the Vikings’ overall record at 2-1. Grand View football returns the gridiron this Saturday in Marshall, Missouri against the Missouri Valley College Vikings.
