The start of district play saw the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity football team trip up for the first time in 2018. Harlan senior quarterback Preston Milligan accounted for three touchdowns, two passing and one throwing, to help push the Cyclones past the Tigers, 28-10. ADM junior Bryce Holm opened the game’s scoring late in the first quarter with a made 27-yard field, giving the Tigers their only lead of the contest. Harlan responded with 28 points over the next two and a half quarter to build a 25 point lead. ADM senior Nick Bradshaw scored ADM’s lone touchdown on a two-yard run midway through the fourth quarter to cap off the game’s scoring. The ADM Tigers football team had their season-opening winning streak halted at four games. The Tigers resume their season next week on the road against the Creston Panthers.
